A BLU-MED Mobile Field Hospital deployed to Joplin, Missouri after a deadly tornado destroyed one of the city's major hospitals.

BLU-MED Mobile Field Hospitals were used to accept hospital overflows when a tornado tore through Joplin, Missouri in 2011. The tornado killed 158 people and injured over 1,000 more.
