BLU-MED Response Systems were utilized to offset patient overflow and treat emergency injuries on-location in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The storm caused $108 billion in damage and claimed the lives of more than 1,200 people along the Gulf Coast of the United States.
