Rapidly deployable medical shelters and mobile field hospitals from BLU-MED Response Systems® (BLU-MED®), the medical division of AKS Industries®, are state-of-the-art, fully equipped facilities designed to support life-saving medical operations in the most demanding environments.
BLU-MED® medical facilities are based on the field- and combat-proven effectiveness of the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Medical System (EMEDS), produced by Alaska Defense®—the military division of AKS Industries®. Engineered for speed, reliability, and operational excellence, these medical shelters have been used extensively around the world to deliver critical care in response to natural disasters, disease outbreaks, humanitarian crises, and emergency relief efforts.
Each BLU-MED® medical facility is designed for rapid deployment alongside existing healthcare facilities to enhance hospital surge capacity and patient isolation or to set up in austere and remote locations where medical infrastructure doesn’t exist or has been compromised, and alternate care sites are needed. Scalable and temperature-controlled, our mobile medical solutions can be configured to support a wide range of mission needs—from triage and surgical care to isolation units and public health outreach.
