Negative Pressure Isolation Rooms & Treatment Facilities

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention mandate the use of negative-pressure Airborne Infection Isolation, or "AII", in the event a patient has contracted an infectious airborne disease such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), in the event of an infectious outbreak like Ebola, or following a bio-terrorist attack.

BLU-MED’s Negative Pressure Isolation System (NPIS) meets and exceeds the Airborne Infection Isolation (AII) system requirements and includes the following features:

  • BLU-MED medical shelter and BLU-MED ECU
  • Negative pressure air scrubber
  • HEPA and UV germicidal filtration
  • Monitor and alarm system
  • Variable size isolation space and anteroom
  • Additionally, the system can be converted to a positive-pressure clean room

Our medical shelters can be equipped with or without Negative Pressure Isolation Systems (NPIS), rapidly deployed to any location in the world, and immediately setup to provide advanced-level care including patient isolation systems for the containment and treatment of infectious airborne diseases, like Ebola.

BLU-MED Response Systems is the world’s leading provider of deployable medical facilities. We maintain an emergency stockpile of medical facilities, command centers, modular office and work spaces, as well as shelters for housing (accommodations for up to 10,000 people) on the shelf and ready for immediate deployment!
