Cindy Burns joined Alaska Structures in 2007 as part of the BLU-MED team that was successful in their bid for three 200-bed mobile field hospitals for the State of California. Cindy’s expertise in sourcing essential medical components for the project contributed to BLU-MED’s award of the $18 million-dollar contract. Cindy is an integral part of the BLU-MED team, providing a critical interface between all facets of administrative support. She plays a vital role in the development of turnkey deployable medical facilities for U.S. and international projects.

In her current position, Cindy sources, negotiates pricing, and purchases equipment for the mobile field hospitals that BLU-MED supplies worldwide. She is responsible for arranging international shipments of equipment to remote locations in countries throughout the world, coordinating with the customer throughout the customs and delivery process. Cindy also manages the team’s travel and training support efforts, assuring that BLU-MED facilities can deploy anywhere in the world …when and where needed™.
