BLU-MED Medical Facility Set Up In Utah To Test Preparedness

The State of Utah owns several BLU-MED mobile medical facilities as part of a state-wide emergency preparedness plan. One of the BLU-MED medical shelters was recently set up in the rural area of Uintah Basin to test medical surge preparedness and the ability to withstand the downdraft of medical service helicopters.
