Idaho Emergency Response Drills & BLU-MED
BLU-MED Response Systems mobile medical facilities helped the Central District Health Department (CDHD) test its medical and emergency response preparedness plan May 6 in a mock disease outbreak drill in Boise.
The exercise tested the emergency and medical response plans of, and coordination between, more than half a dozen agencies, including Boise State University, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, the Boise Fire Department, and other emergency responders in Ada County, Idaho.
About 75 medical staff and volunteers participated. The emergency response drill took place on the campuses of BSU and the VA.
